Privacy policy
This policy covers Volume Booster for Android (com.loudaudio.volumebooster) and this support website. The developer is Arsh Arora (“we”). Contact arshpreet@billionweb.co for privacy questions and requests.
Audio and information on your device
The app processes audio effects on your device. We do not record, save, or upload audio, microphone recordings, song titles, album artwork, or notification contents. Equalizer settings, language, and advertising preferences are stored locally. There is no account or sign-in.
Android's optional microphone/audio capture permission is used only for playback visualization. Optional notification access lets the app discover active media sessions and display playback controls. The app does not use notification contents for advertising or analytics. Notification permission lets the app display its ongoing audio-effects controls. You can revoke permissions in Android Settings; related features will stop working.
Analytics and crash reports
Usage analytics and crash reporting are enabled by default in the released app to measure app usage and improve reliability. There is no in-app switch to turn these services off. Google Firebase Analytics processes app interactions (such as starting effects, choosing a preset, or opening an app screen), installation identifiers, app version, device/OS information, and approximate region derived by Google from network information. We do not set a personal user ID or send free-text, audio, media metadata, or precise location.
Firebase Crashlytics processes crash stack traces, app/device/OS information, installation identifiers, and limited diagnostic categories to help find defects. Caught errors are reported using fixed categories without original error messages. Fatal crash reports may contain technical runtime details. Normal debug builds do not send analytics or crash reports. Regional consent choices in Google’s privacy form can further restrict Analytics storage; the app default does not override a regional denial.
Advertising
The app uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Ad requests begin only when UMP indicates they may proceed. We request non-personalized ads. Non-personalized ads can still use identifiers for delivery, frequency limits, fraud prevention, and measurement, and may require consent. Google may process IP address, device and advertising identifiers, app/device information, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostics. Audio and song details are never provided for advertising.
Where required, Google's consent message lets you manage advertising choices. The app does not currently provide a separate setting to reopen this form. Availability depends on region and Google's consent configuration. See Google's privacy policy, Google's partner-site data explanation, and Firebase privacy information.
Subscriptions
Google Play processes optional Premium payments. The app queries Google Play for products, trial eligibility and purchase status. To verify current access, the app sends the signed purchase receipt over an encrypted connection to our subscription verification service hosted on Google Cloud. The service checks the receipt with Google Play and returns whether access is active and how long it remains valid. Receipts contain purchase identifiers, purchase time, product and package details, and purchase status; they do not contain payment-card details. We do not persist or log receipts or purchase tokens in this service. Verification results may be held temporarily in server memory for up to 30 seconds. The app does not grant Premium from a stored receipt when current access cannot be verified. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play. Clearing app storage does not cancel a subscription; active purchases can be restored with the same Google Play account.
Sharing, storage, and security
Google processes SDK data to provide analytics, diagnostics, and advertising services. We do not sell audio or notification contents. Service providers may process information outside your country under their applicable safeguards. SDK data is transmitted using encrypted connections. No transmission or storage system is entirely risk-free.
Local preferences remain until cleared or the app is uninstalled. Analytics and diagnostic records are retained according to the configured Google service retention settings; advertising records follow Google's retention practices. Support email is retained only as needed to respond, resolve issues, and meet applicable obligations.
Your choices and deletion
Analytics and crash reports have no in-app opt-out control. Advertising choices are presented through Google’s regional consent message where required. Android also provides device-level advertising ID controls. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling removes local app preferences, but does not automatically erase provider-held records.
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection where applicable by emailing us with “Volume Booster privacy” in the subject. Because the app has no account, your email alone may not identify pseudonymous records. We will explain what can be located and what additional limited information, if any, is needed. Do not send identity documents or passwords. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.
Children and website
The app is a general-audience audio utility and is not directed to children under 13 or the applicable age in your region. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. These legal pages do not contain advertising or analytics scripts. Firebase Hosting may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the website. Emailing support shares the information you choose to include.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The effective date above identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated where required.
